Team Beam Green

Mary BoehmerMary K. Boehmer, Founding Director

Mary K. Boehmer, HHI, CEC, ICF, founded Beam Green, LLC
in January 2009. She has dedicated her life to the creation of children who are strong, vibrant, and healthy who will contribute to the world in countless ways. Her belief that through love and proper nutrition all of humanity can grow stronger motivates her to research and bring the best to The Green Social Club.

Mary's intense appreciation of health started at an early age. Mary's father, Richard Boehmer and brother, Daniel Boehmer died prematurely due to heart conditions. Her mother, Colleen N. Boehmer, was diagnosed in 2005 with two benign brain tumors and underwent two craniotomies. After living through much death and the fear of it, Mary finds it to be deeply fufilling spending each day contributing to life!

Mary is a certified Hippocrates Health Institute Health Educator
http://www.hippocratesinst.org/ and graduated from the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching as a Certified Empowerment Coach http://www.ipeccoaching.com/. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Fairfield University in Sociology, with a love of studying the patterns of people.  For Earth Day 2009 Mary was featured on Fox News Strategy Room, The Nancy Skinner Show, and spoke with the staff at the Mandell School on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on healthy choices for parents and children.

Mary is a member of The New York Athletic Club and runs on the intra runners club. She completed her first 30 mile triathlon in June 2008 in 2 hours and 58 minutes; after ha ving taken two ounces of wheatgrass juice in the morning. Mary loves to travel with her Mom to health and wellness destinations across the country. Currently, there are 20,000 restaurants in Manhattan and 100 of them are vegan restaurants. Over the next few years Mary and her mother are planning to experience all 100 vegan restaurants!

From pain to purpose Mary has found her passion: The Green Generation Movement.  Mary would like to acknowledge and give thanks for the unique relationship she has with her mother, Colleen. "She is my best friend." Colleen will be present at most of The Green Social Club Meetings!
